Beyond the poses, you will find The Eight Limbs of yoga.
When your practice begins to journey beyond the mat and into your life, you may find your way to the eight limbs. The eight limbs are a yogic system that when incorporated into one's life can have profound effects both on and off the mat. The branches or limbs can be practiced building one upon another, or all at once. They are as follows:
Yamas- universal ethics
Niyamas- self observances and self restrictions of body, mind and spirit
Asana- physical postures
Pranayama- breath control with intention
Pratyhara- withdrawal of senses
Dharana- concentration
Dyhana-meditation
Samadhi- enlightenment
